To be eligible, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old by February 1, 2025.
- Be a citizen of an eligible country and currently reside in that country when applying.
- Not hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
- Not be married, engaged, or a de facto partner of an Australian/New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Not be serving in the military at the time of application.
- Not have previously received an Australia Awards Scholarship, unless you have lived outside Australia for twice the length of your prior scholarship.
- Meet the admission requirements of the Australian university you are applying to.
- Meet the Australian Student Visa requirements (Subclass 500).
- Apply for a course at a higher academic level than your current qualification (e.g., You cannot apply for a Master’s degree if you already have a Ph.D.).
